The Little Susy Stories
Six Birthdays, Six Teachers, and Little Servants

A complete three-work collection
180 pages · 6 × 9 inches
Paperback ISBN: 979-8-953911-02-3
A child’s ordinary days, and the patient work of growing in love.
Before Stepping Heavenward, Elizabeth Prentiss wrote for children. The Little Susy stories bring birthdays, play, family affection, illness, quarrels, and conversation into a world where conscience and Christian faith belong to everyday life.
This collection gathers Little Susy’s Six Birthdays, Little Susy’s Six Teachers, and Little Susy’s Little Servants in one historically introduced edition. The stories invite families to read slowly and talk together about words, actions, patience, and love.

Reading Together
For family read-alouds and independent readers comfortable with longer chapter books and historical prose.
